BEFORE - This dreary, eroding hillside greeted the owners
of this property as they came up their driveway
in Massachusetts. They wanted a garden that would stop the erosion
on the hillside as well as provide a place of beauty.

AFTER - Working with a stone guy, we pulled these boulders
out of the woods and created an irregular, natural looking
stone wall that I filled in with mostly deer-proof perennials like
ferns and coreopsis.
